Natural hair restoration part 1

Hair loss has been a problem for centuries and there are many long standing solutions based on naturally occuring plants and herbs that can be used even today. Here you will find some of these.

* Diet
It is wide known that modern western diet lacks something useful. Nowadays people prefer to eat fast food, because of the time pressure. As a result there are many deficiences in our diets.
It's not a secret that for healthy and strong hair growth certain minerals and vitamins are required. Some of these include iron, vitamin B6, silicam omega 3 fatty acids and more.
So it it necessary to add strong colored vegetables to your diet, high quality protein, fish nuts and seeds. Also, you need to take multivitamin supplement.

* Hormones
High levels of DHT hormone are known to cause hair loss in men. Hair follicle is being attacked by this hormone, becomes weak and stops the growth of hair. Taking herb Saw Palmetto is one of the most effective methods of reducing the level of this hormone. This herb is commonly used to treat an enlarged prostate, but it was noticed that when used it also encourages hair growth.
The same we can say about Stinging nettle root. Both can be found in capsules.

* Shampoo
Most shampoos contain a mix of chemicals which are to clean and add shine to your hair. One of them Sodium Lauryl Sulfate or SLS is reputed to be harmful to the scalp and health of the hair. It is believed, that while being an effective cleaning agent, when rinsed out of the hair, SLS can leave a residue that may be harmful to the hair follicle. Many people who gave up shampoos containing SLS, report an improvement in the growth and quality of their hair. So, to protect your hair, check the ingredients of the shampoo you are currently using and if necessary, change to a more naturally based formula or find a home made shampoo recipe.
